Elie C. LeBlanc, of Memramcook East passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Dr.George L. Dumont Hospital after a short battle with cancer at the age of 70. Born in Breau's Creek on February 21, 1933, he was the oldest son of the late Clarence and the late Exelda LeBlanc.

 Eli C. LeBlanc Elie was retired from Moncton Chrysler Dodge Ltd where he was an employee for 37 years. He was a devoted father and a loving companion.

Elie will be sadly missed by his special friend, Flora LeBlanc and her family; his daughter, Joanne (Vital) Gould of Memramcook; five sons, Armand (Janice), Claude (late Linda), Maurice (Nicole), Francis (Lois), and Florent (Josette) all of Memramcook; one daughter-in-law, Denise (late Bernard); four sisters, Martha (Armand) Bourque of Memramcook, Yolande (Malcolm) Cormier of Sackville, Claudette Cormier of Moncton, Rachel (Edmond) LeBlanc of Memramcook; two brothers, Roger (Ruth) of Memramcook, Allain (Marjorie) of Oakville ON; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. Eli was predeceased by his wife, Vianna (Richard) LeBlanc (1998); one son, Bernard (1998) and a infant son.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the Funeral Mass to be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 7:00 pm. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
